I am the creator behind 無岸 (Wú Àn), from Taiwan.
I like taking ideas that appear in my mind
and trying to bring them into reality.
Creation does not need to be confined
by form, material, or style.
It can begin anywhere.
And move in any direction.
The medium may change.
The method may change.
What it becomes may change too.
I do not believe a work has to follow its original idea all the way to the end.
During the process of creation,
things happen that were never part of the plan.
Materials may change.
Ideas may change.
Sometimes an accident opens a new direction.
Inspiration is only the beginning.
The work reveals itself through the process.

I do not believe a work needs to be
understood in the same way by everyone.
The creator has their own thoughts.
The viewer brings their own feelings.
The same work
can become something entirely different in another person’s eyes.
I want the work to have the chance to be seen.
But it does not need to please everyone.
A work has no single answer.
A work does not need to prove itself.
It simply goes through things
and becomes what it is now.
Some traces remain.
Some changes happen.
It does not need to return to what it once was.
Nor does it need to fit a predetermined answer.
It only needs to exist.
